Due to its miniature size and the ability to weld all types of fibers, the FSM-11S is perfect for repair work on PON / FTTx networks, SCS and access networks. Authorized service in Kyiv with the replacement of the device for the period of repair.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION

This miniature fiber splicer, like the older models Fujikura FSM-18S and Fujikura FSM-60S, provides excellent quality of welding with unsurpassed reliability and durability. But the main advantage of this apparatus is its minimum weight and size, thanks to which it is possible to cook fiber with high quality in places that are difficult to access.

 

Automatic detection of the types of fibers to be welded

The alignment of the fibers in the FSM-11S is performed along the fiber sheath using V-grooves. At the same time, 2 high-precision micromotors are used to move the fibers.

Thanks to the analysis of the light profile of the fiber, the Fujikura FSM-11S splicer automatically determines the types of spliced fibers: single-mode SM (ITU-T G.652), multi-mode MM (ITU-T G.651), and also: DS (ITU-T G. 653) and NZDS (ITU-T G.655).

 

Arc power auto-tuning

The Fujikura FSM-11S SpliceMate welding machine uses automatic arc power adjustment. The machine analyzes the light intensity of the fiber cladding during the previous splicing and, based on this, adjusts the arc power for the next splice. This operation is automatically performed every time you weld. This makes it possible to automatically compensate for electrode wear, as well as the effects of pressure, humidity and temperature. For the user of the device, automatic adjustment of the arc power gives the following advantages:
- increased electrode life;
- increase in work efficiency: there is no need to frequently manually perform arc calibration;
- increase in welding quality: automatic adjustment of the arc power reduces welding losses;
- increased reliability: the device does not have pressure, humidity and temperature sensors.

The main feature and strength of this machine is its minimum weight and size, thanks to which it is possible to cook fiber with high quality in places that are difficult to access. The overall dimensions of the Fujikura FSM11S are only 110 x 80 x 100 mm. The weight of the device with a 220 V power supply is only 640 g, and with a BTR-07 battery total 810 g. The Fujikura FSM-11S SpliceMate welding machine is the lightest and most compact in its class.
