DETAILED DESCRIPTION
Keithley has been developing data acquisition and control systems for many years. For example, the Keithley 3700A series instruments can contain up to six switching modules with a total of 576 channels.
The new Keithley DAQ6510 data acquisition system can contain only two modules with a maximum of 80 channels. But thanks to the built-in precision multimeter Keithley DMM6500 it can perform 15 measurements, provides a resolution of 6.5 digits, a basic accuracy of 0.0025% per year, and allows direct digitization of voltage and current signals. The strengths of the Keithley DAQ6510 data acquisition system also include: low cost, a 12.7 cm touch screen and a large selection of communication interfaces for inclusion in automated measuring systems.
Keithley DAQ6510 Data Acquisition System can perform 15 measurements
With a built-in full-featured 6.5-digit multimeter, the Keithley DAQ6510 system performs measurements with maximum accuracy. The figure below shows the 15 measurement functions and their corresponding measurement ranges of the DAQ6510 system. All of these measurement functions can be used with any of the 12 7700 Series Switching and Control Modules.
The maximum measurement accuracy is achieved by filtering and averaging the results of a series of measurements in a certain time interval. The accuracy of measuring low resistances can be improved by applying thermal offset compensation. The DAQ6510 measures low resistances with a resolution of 1 µΩ. The maximum speed is obtained when measurements are taken within 0.0005 of the mains voltage cycle or 10 µs at a mains frequency of 50 Hz.
7700 Series Pluggable Switching and Control Modules
The front panel connectors on the Keithley DAQ6510 allow it to be used as a 6.5 digit precision multimeter. And two expansion slots on the rear panel allow you to install 7700 Series modules that turn the Keithley DAQ6510 into a multifunctional data acquisition system.

Keithley DAQ6510 Data Acquisition System Widescreen Touch Screen 12.7 cm
One of the advantages of the Keithley DAQ6510 data acquisition system is a 12.7 cm widescreen touch screen with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. Touch controls and a well-thought-out menu system speed up and simplify work, and a large number of points allows you to see all the details of the signal.
Keithley DAQ6510 Data Acquisition Rear Panel
The rear panel of the Keithley DAQ6510 contains Ethernet/LXI and USB interfaces for integration into computer-controlled automated systems. In the upper left part of the rear panel there is a "COMMUNICATION ACCESSORY" slot covered with a plug, in which you can install an additional board that adds one of the interfaces: IEEE-488.2 (GPIB), RS-232 or TSP-Link.
