Frequency meters Tektronix FCA3000 and FCA3100 Series is the industry's best solution for measuring and analyzing frequency and time. The FCA3000 series includes 3 models (300 MHz, 3 GHz and 20 GHz) and the FCA3100 series also includes 3 models (300 MHz, 3 GHz and 20 GHz). Both series are almost identical, but the FCA3100 series is better in terms of time resolution (50 ps), voltage resolution (1 ms) and additional sum measurement.

Thanks to its excellent performance, you will be able to measure very accurately even small changes in frequency and time. And powerful analysis of the results (statistics, histograms and trends) will allow you to explore the behavior of the signals in detail. Powerful Tektronix FCA3000/FCA3100 functionality for accurate measurements

Frequency counters - timers - analyzers FCA3100 and FCA3000 contain many innovative features: industry-leading frequency and time resolution, large internal memory, high internal memory write speed (250k results per second), and more. A large graphic display allows you to see several additional parameters simultaneously with the current measurement result, which is very clear and convenient.

The photo below shows the FCA3100 model (2 channels of 300 MHz each). Please note that in the 3 GHz and 20 GHz models, there is an additional third input with a high-frequency connector N (f) in the lower right part of the front panel of the device.

Analyze results quickly and accurately with 13 automated measurements and built-in analysis capabilities: statistical processing, trend plot, Allan deviation and histogram. Screenshots of the device screen in various modes are shown below.

If it is necessary to connect the FCA3000 and FCA3100 frequency counters to a computer, this can be easily done using standard USB and IEEE-488.2 (GPIB) interfaces, which are included in each instrument. The photo below shows the rear panel of the Tektronix FCA3000 and FCA3100, which shows the location of the interface connectors. Computer communication software (NI LabVIEW SignalExpress Tektronix Edition, LE version) is included with each counter.

Pay attention to the group of BNC connectors in the left-bottom part of the rear panel. These are control and clock inputs/outputs: external reference frequency input (1 MHz, 5 MHz or 10 MHz), clock output (10 MHz) and external trigger input. The FCA3100 series additionally has a programmable pulse output. When ordering the RP option, 2 or 3 measurement inputs additionally appear on the rear panel of the frequency counters, depending on the model.
