General information

Radio frequency signal generators are widely used in research and measurement laboratories, telecommunications, industrial manufacturing and many other industries. Modern models of high-frequency generators make it possible to form pure sinusoidal signals with frequencies from fractions of a Hz to hundreds of GHz. Most oscillator models also allow you to modulate the output signal by any of the standard methods (AM, FM and PM). Vector signal generators belong to a separate group of high-frequency generators. The frequency range of these devices usually does not exceed 10 GHz, but they can modulate the output signal using a wide range of digital (vector) modulation types (QAM, PSK, etc.).
