Anritsu MS20xxB series of handheld vector network analyzers up to 6 GHz
Brief description of the series
Series VNA Master MS20xxB are compact, functional and inexpensive portable vector analyzers of electric circuits of the Japanese company Anritsu. The series includes four models: two purely vector analyzers MS2024B (up to 4 GHz) and MS2025B (up to 6 GHz), as well as two vector analyzers with an integrated spectrum analyzer: MS2034B (up to 4 GHz) and MS2035B (up to 6 GHz). The great advantage of the Anritsu VNA Master MS20xxB series is its versatility and portability, the built-in battery life is 3.6 hours, and the guaranteed temperature range is from -10°С to +55°С.
The design and function of the Anritsu VNA Master series analyzers are well thought out and are based on the company's many years of experience in creating portable network, spectrum and antenna-feedline analyzers. An engineer working with any of the devices in this series gets at his disposal an accurate, convenient and reliable device with the most modern set of features. If most of the measurements you need to make are in the range up to 6 GHz, then the VNA Master MS20xxB series is ideal for this task.

Analyzers of the Anritsu VNA Master MS20xxB series provide the maximum range of functions for any work outside the laboratory: small size and weight, powered by a built-in battery, wide operating temperature range, two-port vector network analyzer with the ability to measure S11, S21, built-in full spectrum analyzer (in models MS2034B, MS2035B), accurate power measurement using sensors, GPS receiver and much more.
Vector network analysis
High accuracy and a wide range of features make the VNA Master MS20xxB network analyzers a good choice for both field and laboratory applications. On a positive note, it is also worth noting that all Anritsu MS2024B, MS2025B, MS2034B, MS2035B network analyzers are developed and manufactured in the USA. Before shipment to the customer, each device undergoes final quality control (tested in a heat chamber for 48 hours).
Built-in spectrum analyzer
The Anritsu VNA Master MS20xxB series includes four devices: Anritsu MS2024B, MS2025B, MS2034B, MS2035B, two of which (MS2034B, MS2035B) contain a full-featured spectrum analyzer in addition to an excellent vector network analyzer. The built-in spectrum analyzer frequency range of the MS2034B is 9 kHz to 4 GHz, and the frequency range of the MS2035B is 9 kHz to 6 GHz.
The figure below shows an example of the instrument screen in one of the spectrum analyzer modes. To facilitate measurements, markers are used that are set to local signal maxima. Below the spectrogram you can see a table of markers, which shows in a convenient form the frequency and signal power values for each marker.
Design features
All test connectors and auxiliary connectors of Anritsu MS2024B, MS2025B, MS2034B, MS2035B instruments are located on one side of the case. Thus, the sides of the case are free from connectors, which makes it easier to hold the device and work with it.
The characteristics of the Anritsu MS2024B, MS2025B, MS2034B, MS2035B network analyzers are at the level of good laboratory instruments, while the design and operating temperature range (from -10°C to +55°C) are ideal for on-site work in difficult field conditions. conditions.
