SHORT DESCRIPTION

Series MS46322A belongs to a new generation of inexpensive vector network analyzers (VNA, VNA) of the ShockLine family of the Japanese company Anritsu. These are affordable, accurate and functional 2-port vector analyzers. Depending on the modification, the upper operating range is 4, 8, 14, 20, 30 or 43.5 GHz. The MS46322A analyzers can measure all 4 S parameters (S11 Port 1 Reflection, S21 Forward Transfer Characteristic, S12 Reverse Transfer Characteristic and S22 Port 2 Reflection). In addition, measurements in the time domain are possible with option MS46322A-002.

Anritsu MS46322A vector analyzers are based on the patented ShockLine VNA-on-chip technology, in which all the main elements of the analyzer are placed in one micromodule, which allows to significantly simplify and make the internal structure of the device more compact, which in turn significantly reduces the cost and increases the accuracy of measurements , especially at high frequencies. You can download a full description of all the characteristics below on this page in the section Documentation.

Inexpensive, accurate and functional vector analyzer

In addition, Anritsu produces a cheaper series of vector analyzers: Anritsu MS46122A. The measuring path and characteristics of the MS46122A series are completely identical to the MS46322A series, but MS46122A does not contain a built-in computer, but is connected to an external computer via USB. Due to this, the MS46122A is significantly smaller, lighter and costs $5,000 less.

Anritsu MS46322A Vector Network Analyzer Video Review

This video provides a brief overview of the Anritsu MS46322A Economy ShockLine Vector Network Analyzers. The device is presented by Anritsu's vector analyzer line manager right at the booth of a major international exhibition.

A short video review of the Anritsu MS46322A Vector Network Analyzers.

Impressive Features of Anritsu MS46322A Vector Network Analyzers

Anritsu MS46322A ShockLine vector network analyzers provide best in class performance, differing in the best indicators of speed, stability, dynamic range and low noise. The minimum test time and increased bandwidth make these analyzers optimal for testing any passive devices: cables, connectors, filters, attenuators, antennas, etc.

The Anritsu MS46322A vector network analyzer includes a built-in test signal source, switching circuits, and a built-in meter. The MS46322A analyzer is designed for entry-level and mid-level applications that arise in the design and manufacture of microwave devices up to 43.5 GHz.

The MS46322A vector analyzer contains an integrated computer based on an Intel Core i5 processor. All processing is done inside the analyzer and you only need to connect an external monitor, mouse and keyboard to it. The photo below shows a screenshot from the external screen of the Anritsu MS46322A vector network analyzer, which simultaneously displays the measurement results of all four S parameters of the device under test.
