Several leading manufacturers of measuring equipment produce universal modular measuring platforms, the capabilities of which are increased by installing replaceable modules. As a rule, several dozen modules are produced for each measurement platform for measuring various parameters of fiber-optic networks and analysis of communication protocols (Transport and Datacom, abbreviated as T&D). Depending on the type modular system, it can be installed from one to eight replaceable modules.
