Frequency meters and frequency standards are used to accurately measure frequency and synchronize various equipment. The measurement accuracy of the frequency meter can be significantly increased if the frequency meter is synchronized from a separate frequency standard (for example, rubidium). Industrial hydrogen and cesium frequency standards have the highest accuracy.
