Brief description of the series

The ITECH IT-M3140 series of laboratory power supplies are specially designed for testing, production, research laboratories and integration into automated complexes (ATE). The series includes models with voltages from 30 V to 1 200 V with a power of up to 1 850 W and up to 3 000 W. All of them can operate in three modes: constant current, constant voltage or constant power.

The ITECH IT-M3140 series models provide high accuracy and stability, fast response time (better than 1 ms), have a mode for changing the output voltage according to a list of values and all types of overload protection. Remote control is possible both with the help of a computer program, which is included in the delivery set, and with the help of standard SCPI commands. Software PV3140

The PC software included in the delivery set has powerful functions for monitoring and managing the ITECH IT-M3140 series laboratory power supplies. It allows you to perform fully automatic tests by executing command sequences. It is also very convenient to perform documentation by saving the results of measurements of the built-in multimeter and screenshots of tests. The main window of the PV3140 program is shown below. If it is necessary to include ITECH IT-M3140 series models in automated systems, their operation can be controlled using standard SCPI commands. The corresponding programming guide and driver for LabVIEW are located further on this page in the Documentation section.

Case design

The IT-M3140 series DC power supplies are made in a classic desktop case weighing 8 kg. The rear panel contains USB and Ethernet (LAN) interfaces, which can be used to connect the power supply to a computer. If necessary, GPIB (IEEE-488.2) or RS-232 interfaces can be added using the removable IT-E176 and IT-E177 communication modules. Also on the rear panel are output terminals for connecting the load. The appearance of the terminals of models with a maximum voltage of 30 V, 80 V and 150 V is shown in this photo. The terminals of models with a maximum voltage of more than 150 V have a different design for safe operation with high voltage.
