Brief description of the series

The ITECH IT6700 series of simple and affordable laboratory DC power supplies are high-quality, but at the same time inexpensive devices with good performance. This series includes two models that differ in maximum current (5 A or 8 A) and, accordingly, maximum power (100 W or 180 W). Both models are very well protected: there is automatic protection against overvoltage, overcurrent and overheating.

The laboratory power supplies of the ITECH IT6700 series are switching type. At the same time, a low level of ripple (2.5 mV RMS) and high resolution (10 mV and 1 mA) are ensured. If you do not need to control the operation of the power supply from a computer and do not need high voltages and currents, then this series is the optimal solution. Key features

The main feature of laboratory power supplies of the IT6700 series is automatic control and limitation of the output power at the level of 100 W (for the IT6720 model) and 180 W (for the IT6721 model), due to which, at a voltage of 60 Volts, they can supply to the load current up to 1.6 A and up to 3 A respectively. When the output voltage decreases, the maximum current value gradually increases. So at a voltage of 20 Volts, an output current of up to 5 A (for IT6720) and up to 8 A (for IT6721) is possible. The IT6700 series power supplies have two modes of operation: output voltage stabilization and output current stabilization. A separate button is used to switch between modes. There are two LEDs to indicate the current stabilization mode. A separate button is also provided to turn the output on and off.

A very important function of any power source is the ability to protect the powered device from excess voltage and current, otherwise this device can be accidentally burned. To protect the powered device from overload, the IT6700 series has three options: limiting the output voltage at a given level, limiting the output current, and locking the control keys. The power supply itself is also well protected from overload and misuse. It has three automatic protections: from internal overheating, from overvoltage and from overcurrent. Of the additional useful functions, it is worth noting the ability to store in memory up to four hundred combinations of voltage and current for later quick recall.

Convenient control and indication

On the front panel of laboratory power supplies of the ITECH IT6700 series, all the necessary controls and indications are conveniently located: rubberized buttons, a rotary knob for smooth adjustment, a bright and intuitive display with digital indication, and output connection terminals.
