SHORT DESCRIPTION

A Series of Arbitrary Waveform Generators and Standard Functions Tektronix AFG3000C features top-notch features and functionality, intuitive controls and an affordable price. AFG3000C generators can generate 12 standard signals and support 5 types of modulation. And with the powerful ArbExpress software included as standard, you can create arbitrary waveforms and load them into the instrument's internal memory for generation.

Depending on the generator model, the frequency of the generated sinusoidal signal ranges from 10 MHz to 240 MHz. All instruments in this series are equipped with a highly stable reference oscillator with a drift of only 0.000,001 per year. For ease of use, there are 25 shortcut keys for frequently used functions and settings. With all these qualities, the Tektronix AFG3000C arbitrary waveform and standard function generators are widely used in the development and testing of electronic devices, for simulating sensors, in functional testing and in the field of education. DETAILED DESCRIPTION

Tektronix AFG3000C Series Generators combined in one device functionality of three separate generators:
- function generator from 10 MHz to 240 MHz;
- pulse generator from 5 MHz to 120 MHz;
- arbitrary waveform generator with 14-bit resolution.

Both single channel models (AFG3011C, AFG3021C, AFG3051C, AFG3101C, AFG3151C and AFG3251C) and dual channel models (AFG3022C, AFG3052C, AFG3102C, AFG3152C and AFG3252C) of AFG3000C series generators very comfortable to work and help to quickly and efficiently perform practical tasks on the formation of standard and arbitrary signals. Tektronix AFG3000C Series Flexibility in Standard Function Generation

All AFG3000C series generators can generate 12 types of commonly used standard waveforms: sine, square, pulse, sawtooth, triangular, Sin(x)/x, exponential rise and fall, Gaussian, Lorentzian, Haversine, DC voltage, and noise.

Dual Channel Models can generate different signals on both outputs with independent adjustment of amplitude, frequency and other parameters of each of the signals. This photo shows the screen of the AFG3000C series generator with a Sin(x)/x signal at the first output with a peak amplitude of 125 mV and a repetition period of 1.8 µs, and at the second output a conventional sinusoidal signal with a frequency of 500 kHz and a peak amplitude of 500 mV.

 

Tektronix AFG3000C Series Arbitrary Waveform Capabilities

All AFG3000C series generators can generate arbitrary waveforms using the built-in high quality DAC with 14-bit vertical resolution. Depending on the oscillator model, the DAC frequency ranges from 250 MS/s to 2 GS/s. The output voltage range, for most models in the series, is -10 to +10 V. And the AFG3011C model provides a range of ±20 V.

You can create arbitrary waveforms and load them into the instrument's internal memory (128K points in size) using the powerful ArbExpress computer program, which included in standard delivery. This photo shows the main window of the ArbExpress program.
