DETAILED DESCRIPTION

In order to cleave the fiber using the Fujikura CT-02 manual cleaver, it is necessary to place the end of the fiber cleared of varnish in the cleaver ruler, then gently press the cleaver lever once so that the knife touches the fiber (a notch is formed on the fiber), then break the fiber bending the rubber plate of the cleaver along the notch. After that, the fiber trim must be manually removed from the cleaver and disposed of. You can download the manual in section Documentation. The error of the cleavage angle is on average 1 degree, which is quite enough for most jobs. The CT-02 cleaver uses a replaceable blade (code: CT-02-BLADE). After the resource of the CT-02-BLADE knife is exhausted, it can be easily replaced with a new one.
