SHORT DESCRIPTION

Fujikura FSM-50S - in the period from 2006 to 2008, it was the most popular fiber splicer in Ukraine and Russia, with the help of which most modern networks were created. The FSM-50S welding machine turned out to be so successful and reliable that most modern welding machines from other manufacturers are modified copies of the FSM-50S. It was discontinued in 2008 due to the release of an updated model. Fujikura FSM-60S.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION

The FSM-50S automatic welding machine combines the reliability of the previous FSM-40S with the latest in high technology. Fujikura FSM50S has an improved fiber alignment system (PAS - Profile Alignment System), small size (150 x 150 mm) and weight (2.3 kg). The FSM-50S also provides fast fiber splicing (9 sec.) and heat shrink (35 sec.). The battery for autonomous work is designed for 80 weldings.

 

 

Additional advantages of the Fujikura FSM-50S welding machine include: a reconfigurable monitor (top / side position), a double set of control keys to simplify work, a reduced number of welding steps, a Russified menu of on-screen commands, a technical description and an instruction manual in Russian.

The comfortable design of the Fujikura FSM-50S, which allows the operator to work from either side of the fiber, long battery life, the ability to work in the range from -10°C to +50°C and enhanced wind protection make the Fujikura FSM-50S the best choice for field conditions.

 

 

At the moment, the Fujikura FSM-50S welder is out of production. Two models were released to replace him: Fujikura FSM-60S (core convergence) and Fujikura FSM-18S (reduction on the fiber cladding). The new Fujikura welding machines differ from the previous FSM50S model in reduced dimensions and dust-moisture-shock resistance. In addition, now on one pair of electrodes it is possible to make not 1000 welds as on the FSM-50S, but 2000 welds, and about 150 heat shrink welds can be made on one battery charge.
