DETAILED DESCRIPTION

The TDS2000C Series digital storage oscilloscopes replace the acclaimed TDS2000B Series and offer affordable performance in a convenient, compact package.

The TDS2000 series includes 7 models with different bandwidth and number of channels: TDS2001, TDS2002, TDS2004, TDS2012, TDS2014, TDS2022, TDS2024. With standard features—including a USB port, 16 automatic measurements, limit monitoring, data logging, and context sensitive help—the TDS2000C Series oscilloscopes help you get more done in less time.

The TDS2000C series oscilloscopes are easy to use and have an interface that is familiar from other TDS2000C instruments. Tektronix.

Digital measurement accuracy

200 MHz bandwidth and 2 GS/s maximum sample rate –no other oscilloscope has such performance at such a low price. Tektronix proprietary technology provides real-time sampling, at least 10x oversampling, on all channels, allowing you to accurately capture the signals you need. Sampling parameters do not degrade when using multiple channels.

Tektronix real-time digital sampling lets you see what other oscilloscopes can't.

Essential Troubleshooting Tools

Advanced triggering capabilities—edge/fall, pulse width, and video—help you quickly locate signals of interest. And once you capture the signal, you can speed up your analysis with advanced math and automatic measurements. Signals can be added, subtracted, multiplied, or fast Fourier transform (FFT) applied to them. Sixteen automatic measurements quickly and reliably calculate important signal characteristics such as frequency or rise time, while built-in limit monitoring makes it easy to identify existing problems.

The intuitive user interface with individual vertical adjustment for each channel, auto-tuning and auto-ranging makes the instrument extremely easy to use, reducing training time and increasing efficiency.

The Tektronix TDS2000C Series oscilloscopes can automatically monitor input signals and perform pass/fail discrimination by comparing these signals to pre-set thresholds. Based on the test results, the oscilloscope can take some action, such as stop capturing the waveform, disable the limit check function, save the error signal parameters or screenshot to a USB storage device, or perform a combination of the above operations. This solution is ideal for manufacturing and service applications where decisions need to be made quickly.

Flexible data transfer and logging

The USB host port on the front panel allows you to store instrument settings, screenshots, and waveforms on a flash drive. The built-in data logging feature allows you to set up the oscilloscope to store specified waveforms on a USB storage device for up to 8 hours in total.

By connecting any of the TDS2001C, TDS2002C, TDS2004C, TDS2012C, TDS2014C, TDS2022C, or TDS2024C oscilloscope models to a PC via the USB port on the rear panel, you can easily capture, save, and analyze measurement results using the included OpenChoice PC Communications software. Simply drag and drop screenshots or measurement results into the standalone application or directly into Microsoft Word and Excel. If you prefer to do without a PC, you can simply print the image on any PictBridge-compatible printer.
