Brief description of the series

The Aaronia SPECTRAN V6 ECO series are low-cost real-time USB spectrum analyzers with an excellent price-performance ratio. This series includes models up to 6 GHz, expandable to 7.25 GHz, and models up to 18 GHz. Two models in the series include a built-in high-frequency generator, and one model contains two high-frequency inputs. The real-time analysis bandwidth is 44 MHz or 60 MHz. Separately, it is worth noting the high scanning speed of 500 GHz/s with the possibility of increasing to 3 000 GHz/s.

The Aaronia SPECTRAN V6 ECO series includes 5 models. To connect them to a computer, a high-speed USB 3.2 Type-C PD 3.0 interface is used. The analyzers are powered via the same USB interface. Remote control and processing of results is carried out using the powerful Aaronia RTSA-Suite PRO computer program, which is included in the delivery package. Software Aaronia RTSA-Suite PRO

Each SPECTRAN V6 ECO spectrum analyzer comes with powerful Aaronia RTSA-Suite PRO software for processing and visualizing measurement results. This program is built on a modular principle and contains dozens of free modules (blocks) for most practical tasks.

In addition to free modules, many paid modules have been developed for the RTSA-Suite PRO program that solve specialized tasks, such as intermodulation analysis or demodulation of LTE cellular signals. Case design

Structurally, all models of Aaronia SPECTRAN V6 ECO spectrum analyzers are compact devices weighing 850 grams without a display or buttons. Analyzers are powered, controlled and data transferred via a high-speed USB 3.2 Type-C PD 3.0 interface.

This photo shows the front panel of the V6 ECO 150XA-6 as an example. There are two SMA(f) type RF connectors located on it. The connector labeled Rx is the spectrum analyzer input up to 6 GHz (expandable to 7.25 GHz) and 44 MHz real-time analysis bandwidth. The connector labeled Tx is the output of a vector signal generator up to 6 (7.25) GHz with a modulation bandwidth of 44 MHz and power up to +10 dBm.

On the rear panel of this model there are four SMB(f) connectors: 10 MHz reference input (REF 10MHz), trigger input/output (TRG 3,3V), PPM signal input/output (PPM 3,3V) and GPS signal input with power supply to an external GPS antenna (GPS ACT 3,3V). Also on the rear panel there is a USB connector for data transfer and power (USB-PD).
