Brief description of the series

The Anritsu MS4640B VectorStar series is the most functional and accurate line of top-end vector network analyzers (VNA) from the Japanese company Anritsu. The series includes four main instruments: MS4642B (from 10 MHz to 20 GHz), MS4644B (from 10 MHz to 40 GHz), MS4645B (from 10 MHz to 50 GHz) and MS4647B (from 10 MHz to 70 GHz). Installing the MS4640B-070 option extends the lower frequency range of each instrument to 70 kHz. In addition, the series includes two extended frequency range vector analyzers: ME7838E (70 kHz – 110 GHz) and ME7838D (70 kHz – 145 GHz). It is also possible to order models of vector analyzers with an operating range of up to 1.1 THz (1100 GHz).

The MS4640B VectorStar series analyzers are equipped with two measuring connectors as standard. To obtain a four-port configuration, additional units are used: MN4694C (up to 40 GHz) or MN4697C (up to 70 GHz).
