MAIN CHARACTERISTICS
The MS2683A Series Spectrum Analyzer provides optimal performance across a wide dynamic range (156 dB typical), throughput rates (1 Hz to 20 MHz), and high sweep speeds, everything you need to evaluate next-generation radio systems and devices. It can be used not only as a spectrum analyzer, but also to perform measurements in networks W-CDMA, GSM, cdmaOne, CDMA 2000 1xEV-DO, WLAN, TD-SCDMA. It is enough to install the software option into the analyzer base unit using the appropriate memory card.

The MS2688A Spectrum Analyzer provides standard functions for measuring radio parameters such as channel power, frequency, adjacent channel leakage power (ACP), and used bandwidth (OBW).

The MS2683A has many additional options designed to improve instrument performance and add functionality:
- high stability 10 MHz reference crystal oscillator option
- resolution increase option from 1 Hz to 1 kHz
- digital resolution option adds an RMS detector and extends the resolution range (10 Hz to 1 MHz)
- extension of the lower limit of the pre-selector frequency from 3.15 GHz to 1.6 GHz
- preamplifier option with a typical gain of 20 dB and a frequency range of 100 kHz to 3 GHz
- 10BaseT Ethernet interface to provide remote control and others
