MAIN CHARACTERISTICS

The EXFO AXS-200 handheld modular platform is designed for multi-level testing in optical and copper access lines. The AXS-200 is a test platform that performs all the measurements required by network providers: testing VoIP, IPTV, ISP over optical fiber or copper, while testing Ethernet, copper line bandwidth, etc.

Multiservice platform EXFO AXS-200 is designed for measurements in three environments (xDSL, Ethernet, and fiber) can be easily configured for copper/DSL/triple-play, Ethernet, and fiber measurements using the common Windows CE GUI. Thanks to this, the training time of personnel is significantly reduced, which allows both experienced and novice repairmen to quickly carry out a large amount of measurements at the stage of deploying new services in the network.

Testing capabilities depend on the type of module that is included with the AXS-200 platform.
Now 8 different modules are being produced (see below), the list of which is regularly updated with new models.

EXFO AXS-200/350 optical tester module

Source: 850, 1300, 1310, 1490, 1550 and 1625 nm (model dependent).
Built-in power meter calibrated to 40 wavelengths CWDM. Detector type: Ge (model AXS-200/352) and GeX (model AXS-200/352X). Operating modes: insertion loss measurement, radiation source, power meter, visual flaw detector VFL (option). Possibility of semi-automatic testing. Standard Support IEC 61280-4-1.
Compatible with EXFO AXS-200 platform.

EXFO AXS-200/360 optical power meter module

Power meter calibrated to 40 wavelengths CWDM.
Detector type: Ge (model AXS-200/362). Built-in visual flaw detector VFL (option). Ability to evaluate by the criterion "good / bad". Standard support IEC 61280-4-1.

EXFO FIP-400 fiber optic video microscope for EXFO AXS-200 platform

Magnification: 200 or 400 (depending on the model).

With the help of interchangeable nozzles, it can be connected to patch cords and patch panels of the following types: FC, SC, LC, ST, SMA, E2000, D4, Lemo, MTP, MTRJ, MU, MT, etc.

Two Ethernet ports. Operates as a 10 and 100 Mbps Ethernet termination or transparent device. Performs analysis IPTV using TV box emulation, analysis VoIP, data analysis, measurement RFC 4445 (MDI), jitter PCR and PID view.
It is a simple and affordable solution for testing subscriber IP services with a quick pass/fail assessment.

Like all manual measuring instruments produced by the company EXFO, AXS-200 is equipped with a user-friendly interface. The device implements testing with accurate results at the touch of a button, visual display of threshold values Goodin/Unfit. The bright contrast screen provides excellent visibility. In addition, the results obtained can be transferred to a computer, processed and presented in the form of reports.
