The Anritsu BTS Master MT8222A is a multifunctional base station testing tool that eliminates the need for a large amount of test equipment. Its capabilities include spectrum analysis, accurate return loss, VSWR, cable loss, distance to fault, two-port loss/gain, one- and two-port magnitude and phase measurements, interference analysis, spectrogram, microwave measurements, and W-CDMA/HSDPA demodulation and GSM/GPRS/EDGE, W-CDMA/HSDPA over the air (OTA), positioning, increased reference oscillator frequency accuracy, variable core power, and T1 flow measurement.



Design and interfaces

The BTS Master MT8222A is equipped with an 8.4 inch (21.3 cm) color display that performs optimally both indoors and outdoors, in any light and weather, and has SVGA resolution. The use of an external Compact Flash memory module expands the storage capacity of the MT8222A to an unlimited number of traces and setups. Ethernet 10/100 Base-T and USB 2.0 interfaces allow more flexibility in loading and unloading traces, setups, and more.




A complete data analysis and management software package (“Master Software Tools”) included with every BTS Master MT8222A provides a simple and easy method for managing and archiving measurement files, as well as analyzing system status over time.
