SHORT DESCRIPTION

Anritsu 2000-18xx-R is a series of directional horn antennas (Horn antenna), which provides a continuous overlap in frequency in the range from 17.6 GHz to 110 GHz. The series consists of seven antenna models that differ in operating frequency range and, accordingly, in size and weight. All models provide a typical gain of 25 dBi.

The 2000-18xx-R series antennas are designed to be connected to a waveguide. In addition, each antenna has a waveguide-to-coaxial type K, V, or W connector. With their compact size and solid frequency coverage, these antennas are great for use with portable spectrum analyzers, such as MS2090A (up to 54 GHz) or MS276xA (up to 170 GHz).

You can download a full description of all the characteristics of Anritsu 2000-18xx-R horn antennas below on this page in the section Documentation.

Main characteristics:
Frequency: 17.6 GHz - 26.7 GHz (Model 2000-1867-R).
Frequency: 26.4 GHz - 40.1 GHz (Model 2000-1868-R).
Frequency: 33.0 GHz - 50.1 GHz (Model 2000-1869-R).

Anritsu 2000-18xx-R horn antenna gains

The figure below shows the gains of one of the antennas of the Anritsu 2000-18xx-R series, namely the 2000-1868-R model, depending on the angle in degrees. The green graph corresponds to the electrical component of the field (E-plane), and the red graph corresponds to the magnetic component (H-plane). Both graphs were obtained at a frequency of 33.25 GHz.

Anritsu 2000-18xx-R horn antenna dimensions and connection methods

This table provides information about the overall dimensions and types of waveguide connection of Anritsu 2000-18xx-R series horn antennas. Each antenna model has its own type of waveguide (seven varieties in total) and mounting flange.

If the 2000-18xx-R horn antennas are to be connected to an instrument with a coaxial input connector type, then a waveguide-to-coaxial adapter is required. It is important that the adapter and the antenna match not only the cross sections of the waveguide, but also the mounting flanges.

This figure lists adapter adapters suitable for the 2000-18xx-R antenna series with their models and brief specifications. These adapters use three types of coaxial connectors: K (up to 40 GHz), V (up to 70 GHz) and W (up to 110 GHz).
