MAIN CHARACTERISTICS
The Anritsu MG37020A Series Microwave Generators are fast-switchable microwave signal generators in the frequency range from 10 MHz to 20 GHz. With a typical switching speed of 100 µs per point, the MG37020A is an ideal signal source for RF and microwave applications requiring frequency agility, including intensive applications such as antenna, radar and satellite testing.
Also, the MG37020A series of fast microwave signal generators provide high output power, low phase noise, excellent spectral purity and high efficiency pulse modulation. For example, the MG37020A can deliver a guaranteed +23 dBm at 20 GHz with -86 dBc/Hz phase noise at 10 kHz offset. This level of performance eliminates the need for external amplification and makes it possible to verify spectral purity requirements.
The MG37020A offers high performance pulse modulation capability to model signals from the simplest to the most complex. The MG37020A pulse modulation option includes an internal waveform generator, the ability for single, dual, triple, quadruple and burst modes with aligned pulse widths as narrow as 100 ns and unaligned as narrow as 10 ns.
The MG37020A generators offer enhanced communication and an intuitive color touch screen user interface. Remote programming interfaces include USB 2.0 Ethernet LAN, IEEE-488 GPIB. MG37020A can accommodate USB mouse, keyboard and external VGA monitor.
