SHORT DESCRIPTION

Identifiers (determinants) of the active fiber Fujikura FID-25R, FID-26R are compact and inexpensive devices designed to quickly determine the presence and direction of propagation of optical signals in a fiber without breaking the fiber itself. Their work is based on the output of part of the radiation at the bend of the fiber. Model FID-25R also contains a full built-in optical power meter up to +10 dBm.

Main characteristics:
Determine the presence and type of signal in a single-mode fiber (without breaking the fiber).
Types of detected signals: traffic signal, continuous signal, modulated signal with a frequency of:
270 Hz, 1 kHz and 2 kHz. Wavelengths of the determined signals: from 900 to 1700 microns.
IDs can connect to pigtails and patch cords: 1.1mm; 1.5 mm; 1.7mm; 2 mm; 3 mm, as well as to bare fiber (0.25 mm), single and tape (up to 12 fibers).
Model FID-25R also contains a built-in power meter at 1310, 1490 and 1550 nm.
Measures the power of signals up to +10 dBm with an accuracy of ±0.3 dB.
Operating temperature range: from -10°С to +50°С. Weight: 180 g.
Power: up to 8 hours on two standard AA batteries.
